1957 Gilera 4 Cylinder Racer

1957 Gilera 4 Cylinder Racer Gilera was the first to make an across-the frame 4 cylinder engine which is now standart in almost all Japanese motorcycles. Gilera 4's were dominant in the early 50's in international racing, finally losing their dominance to MV Agusta. This engine, with its huge double overhead camshafts, make Gilera arguably the most glamorous and successful of all racing motorcycles.
