1917 Henderson Model G In Line 4 57 CI 934cc 4cyl 7hp
Cost $325 US in 1917
4 Cylinder Henderson production was from 1912 to 1917, and at that time these bikes were the largest and the fastest in the land (USA) The model G was the last of the true Henderson's and included a wet sump and 3 speed gear box.
This model was successfully used in establishing long distant records. The Henderson company was sold in 1917 to the then owner of the Excelsior Motor Company. This bike was restored by its previous owner, but it has never been started after restoration.
This bike is part of the NZ Classics Nelson Collection.
