One of four cars built in 1955-56 with a unique chassis nearly five inches wuder than the later serues-built Boano cars. All had the same engine, Porsche -designed synchromesh gears and body style. These four and the early 110 super America that followed had coach work by Farina. Though the 110SA was 20 CM longer in the nose both shared the same pleasing panoramic rear window and fender break behind the door. Farina touches include sculptured bright work on doors and windows and crossed flags on the rear of the car. Built especially for Emmanualle Nasi, a director of Fiat, special features include deleting the driving lights inside the grille, the driver's door window handle placed low to avoid knee contact. Earlier style larger gauges and twin saddle mounted gas tanks, leaving no visible external filler door. This car, serial number 0465 GT was the first to use the new 250 high performance heads.
