The "rule book" defining
Formula One cars published by the FIA is long and complex. Finding ways to achieve maximum performance within the rules keeps
Formula One constructors busy year-round, from season to season, from race to race. While other forms of racing cars may have greater acceleration or top speed,
Formula One cars are meant to be (and are) the quickest in completing a circuit composed of "normal" roads with left and right hands turns without banking - "road circuits" as opposed to aval "tracks". And unlike "track" racing
Formula One goes on rain or shine.
